We have been running family treks in the Everest region for many years and with great success. A trek in the Everest region with your family is a memorable experience. The stunning mountain scenery, the unique cultural experience to be had in the villages along the way, and the interaction with our friendly and knowledgeable staff deliver an unforgettable family experience that's hard to beat. Our itinerary allows generous acclimatisation and a leisurely pace. We camp in a combination of our comfortable exclusive eco-comfort camps and wilderness camps, and hand-picked eco lodges in the main villages. It's an experience your family will talk about for many years to come!

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you are met by a World Expeditions representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the surrounding area. In the afternoon, you attend a pre-trek briefing at approximately 4:30–5:00pm where your guide outlines the journey and distributes your trekking equipment, including your kit bag, sleeping bag and down or fibrefill jacket. The day concludes with a welcome dinner, providing an opportunity to meet your fellow travellers. Accommodation: Radisson Hotel Kathmandu

Today you either have time to explore Kathmandu or drive to Ramechhap, depending on flight arrangements. If travelling to Ramechhap, the drive takes approximately 5 hours through rural countryside. Ramechhap serves as a gateway for flights to Lukla. The day concludes at your hotel or camp. Accommodation: Radisson Hotel Kathmandu or Eco-Comfort Camp NB: During the spring and autumn trekking seasons (March to May and October to December), flights to and from Lukla may operate from Manthali Airport, Ramechhap. This is determined by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and is subject to change. Your leader will confirm final flight arrangements locally.

This morning you transfer to the airport for your flight to Lukla, which takes approximately 35 minutes from Kathmandu or 20 minutes from Ramechhap. On arrival, you meet your trekking crew and begin your trek, descending towards the Dudh Koshi River. The trail follows a well-defined path through small villages and farmland. The day concludes at Ghat (2,530m / 8,301ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you follow the Dudh Koshi River, gradually ascending through forest and cultivated terraces. The trail passes through small settlements and crosses suspension bridges along the valley. You also encounter mani walls, an important feature of local Buddhist culture. The day concludes at Monjo (2,850m / 9,350ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you follow the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges before entering Sagarmatha National Park. The trail continues to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi, where you cross a high suspension bridge. From here, a steady ascent through forest leads towards Namche Bazaar, with your first views of Everest along the way. The day concludes at Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft), where your lodge is located. Accommodation: Lodge

Today you ascend from Namche along a ridgeline towards Syangboche and the Everest View Hotel. The trail continues to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village in the Khumbu region. From here, you descend to Kyangjuma (3,550m / 11,647ft). The day concludes at your camp in Kyangjuma. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you follow a scenic trail along ridgelines with views of Everest and surrounding peaks. The route descends through forest before crossing the Dudh Koshi River. The trail then ascends through forest to Tengboche, the spiritual centre of the Khumbu. The day concludes at Pangboche (3,930m / 12,894ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you leave the main trekking route, following quieter trails above Tengboche. The path traverses forest before gradually ascending into alpine terrain and open pasture. As you gain elevation, expansive mountain views open across the surrounding peaks. The day concludes at Mingbo (4,530m / 14,862ft), where your lodge is located. Accommodation: Lodge

Today you ascend to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,800m / 15,748ft), following a trail that climbs steadily into alpine terrain. From base camp, you gain close-up views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding peaks. After time at base camp, you descend and continue along the valley, crossing the Imja Khola. The day concludes at Pangboche (3,930m / 12,894ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you descend through the valley, with views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. The trail passes through forested slopes and terraced fields along the route. As you continue, the path leads towards the riverside settlement of Phortse Tenga. The day concludes at Phortse Tenga (3,600m / 11,811ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you descend to the Dudh Koshi River before ascending through forested slopes. The trail climbs steadily towards Mongla Pass, offering expansive mountain views. From here, you continue along a ridgeline before descending gently towards Namche Bazaar. The day concludes at Namche Bazaar (3,780m / 12,402ft), where your lodge is located. Accommodation: Lodge

Today you descend through forested hillsides, following the Dudh Koshi River downstream. The trail passes through pine forest and traditional villages along the valley. As you continue, you exit Sagarmatha National Park and retrace your earlier route. The day concludes at Ghat (2,850m / 9,350ft), where your camp is set. Accommodation: Eco-Comfort Camp

Today you retrace your steps along the valley, following trails through forest and small settlements. The route gradually ascends with gentle undulations as you make your way back to Lukla. On arrival, there is time to relax after completing your trek. The day concludes at your lodge in Lukla. Accommodation: Lodge

This morning you take a flight from Lukla, which takes approximately 35 minutes to Kathmandu or 20 minutes to Ramechhap, followed by a 5-hour drive to Kathmandu depending on flight operations. The flight offers views across the Himalayan landscape as you depart the Everest region. On arrival in Kathmandu, you are transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the city. Accommodation: Radisson Hotel Kathmandu

After breakfast, you are transferred to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Your trip concludes in Kathmandu.
