                    ON THE WATER
felucca | A felucca is a small traditional wooden sail boat covered in mattresses to form a shaded deck where you can relax and watch life along the Nile. It does not have private rooms – you simply sleep and eat on deck, and there is a communal bathroom onboard.
dhoni | In the Maldives we travel on board a traditional Dhoni, which is a motorised sailing vessel. We use several different types (depending on group size and time of travel) with an average of 10 travellers per departure, each equipped with private twin cabins, shared bathrooms, a galley and sun deck.
house boats | In Kashmir you’ll enjoy the exquisite carved timber houseboats that are mobilised along the edge of the lake with mountain views all around. Twin bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a communal lounge/dining area add to the comfort.
backwater houseboats | Stay on the water in traditional houseboats that provide comfort and a truly authentice local southern India experience. In Kerala, while a little more basic, a local houseboat offering twin bedrooms with attached bathrooms is a great way to cruise the backwaters around Kochin.
