specifically to suit particular adventures. Our hotels | Stay in centrally located and atmospheric 3-4-
aim is to provide comfort whilst immersing you in the environment for a true adventure.
lodges | In Indian national parks, we often stay in wildlife lodges in or near the park. They are not luxury, but they do provide very comfortable rooms and common areas and are very clean and well maintained.
AUTHENTIC
home stays | On a handful of our itineraries you’ll be accommodated in homestays, where a local family opens their home to you, providing an authentic insight into their local culture, cuisine and lifestyle. Expect a warm reception from your hosts as well as simple, clean and comfortable communal lodgings with shared bathrooms.
bedouin camp | Found in the desert regions of the Middle East, these are permanent safari camps using traditional Bedouin tents and decor. Bathroom facilities may be basic, as water is scarce. Power is limited to specific hours and is usually by generator when available. At night, ambience is provided by the kerosene lanterns or candles.

camping | We draw on four decades of offering treks to the remotest areas to provide you with an exceptional fully supported camping experience. Stay in quality two person tents in scenic wilderness – our crew look after all the logistics, leaving you to relax. Enjoy meals in the dining tent, prepared by our kitchen staff and enjoy the comfort of a sit down toilet.
ger camps | A ger is a circular felt tent used by the nomadic people of Mongolia and Central Asia. Spacious with comfortable beds, gers also provide a genuine homestay opportunity with candles illuminating the ger at night for a truly atmospheric experience.
eco-domes |For a unique Wadi Rum experience in Jordan we use dome tents designed for comfort and for their eco-friendly properties. You will have your own deck and an internal lounge area from which to retreat from the heat.
