e Great Himalaya Trail is the longest and highest alpine track in the world winding 4500km through the tallest mountain ranges and most isolated communities from Bhutan to Pakistan.
World Expeditions proudly o ered the first commercial opportunity to traverse the Nepal section of the Great Himalaya Trail (GHT) over 1700km of the country’s terrain from east to west. You can do the full traverse in 152 days or join one of the seven sections.
By trekking the GHT you will be helping us achieve a vision of sharing the benefit of tourism dollars with isolated communities that currently receive little to no income and are totally farming subsistent. is is sustainable tourism in practice as it addresses wealth disparity and helps to reduce poverty.
