camping | We draw on our four decades of offering treks to provide you with a comfortable fully supported camping experience. Sleep soundly in quality two person tents and let the crew look after all logistics, leaving you to relax. Dine on meals prepared by our cooks and kitchen staff in the dining tent and enjoy the comfort of a sit toilet in the purpose tent.
traditional | For a genuine immersion in the local culture we integrate stays in traditional lodgings. These are gers in Mongolia, ryokans in Japan, riads in Morocco, Bedouin camps in the Middle East and homestays in local townships and villages. Staying with locals or in amongst a local community gives an authentic travel experience.

You don't have to leave the country to have a once-in-a- lifetime remote camping experience but you do have to go to the 'red centre'. Our semi-permanent eco-campsites are architecturally designed, award-winning and supremely comfortable. Be there. Be in the moment. Be amazed.
Each site features our stretched 'big top' community tent, solar powered with lounges, dining table, kitchen and adjacent campfire. Surrounding this are our safari-style tents with stretcher beds complete with 5cm thick swags, cotton fitted sheets and pillows. A hot shower and sit down toilet completes the outback comfort.
