WHY TRAVEL
WITH US?
Close encounter with a humpback whale, Russian Far East | Rachel Imber
our experience | World Expeditions has been organising voyages to the Polar regions for close to two decades. Our first hand knowledge of the destinations is exemplary and you can be assured of a personalised service where we are focused on attention to detail, providing you with excellent recommendations based on what you want out of your holiday and advising you on airfares to and from your destination. We’ll also advise you on the best times to see the wildlife and what clothing and equipment is required. When booking with World Expeditions you can rest assured that you are booking with a fully licensed and accredited organisation that is underpinned by an exceptional safety and value track record.
small groups – like minded travellers | Next to each voyage we have listed the departure date. Numbers of passengers varies according to the voyage that you choose, but expect anything from 48 to 198. We have always found that once on board the community quickly gels and some lifelong friendships are formed with travellers from all corners of the globe.
an activity for everyone | A voyage in the Polar regions is an adventure in itself. The ships that we use are stable ice strengthened or ice breaker vessels and are excellent also in open sea conditions. But you can take your polar experience one step further and participate in any of the optional activities on offer, including: sea kayaking, diving, snorkelling, photography, camping on ice, or snow shoeing and mountaineering.
"YOUR POLAR JOURNEY WILL BE AN EXPERIENCE IN SURREAL LANDSCAPES, AS ICEBERGS FLOAT SILENTLY AMIDST VAST SKIES, AQUAMARINE BAYS AND SWEEPING SNOW COVERED RANGES.
THESE REGIONS REMAIN PRISTINE PLAYGROUNDS FOR MAJESTIC WILDLIFE THAT YOU WILL SEE NOWHERE ELSE"
