ITINERARY: DAY 1 | Arrive Faro Airport, group transfer to Odeceixe 2 | Cycle along the coast and through farmland to Aljezur (32km/20mi) 3 | Visit the castle of Aljezur before cycling inland to Pedralva (44km/27mi) 4 | Cycle to the Cape of S. Vicente, the most SW point of Europe and continue to Sagres (41km/25.5mi) 5 | Cycle the southern coast past beaches, caves and dramatic coastline to Lagos (43km/27mi) 6 | Transfer to Olhão and continue by bike past charming villages to Tavira (30km/18.5mi) 7 | Cycle to Vila Real de Santo António (37km/23mi) 8 | Trip concludes with group transfer to Faro Airport
INCLUSIONS: MEALS: 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches (4 are picnic style), 5 dinners, water and fruit on cycle days ACCOMMODATION: 7 nights hotels and posadas with ensuite facilities GUIDES: cycle guide and driver for groups of 6 or more, otherwise driver guide BACKUP & SUPPORT: support vehicle, luggage transfer TRANSPORT: transfer to and from Faro airport & transfer from Lagos to Olhão EQUIPMENT: bike rental, including helmet and pannier PLUS: entrance to Fortress of Sagres, Municipal museum of Aljezur and Fisherman’s museum
