ITINERARY: DAY 1 | Arrive Naples, transfer to Sorrento 2 | By hydrofoil to Capri, explore by foot (3hrs), return to Sorrento 3 | Explore Pompeii and Herculaneum, return to Sorrento by train, private transfer to Agerola 4 | Stunning ‘Path of the Gods’ walk from Agerola to Positano, return to Agerola (3hrs) 5 | Walk through the Ferriere Valley to Ravello (5hrs) 6 | Walk to the crater of Mt Vesuvius then return to Naples (2hrs) 7 | Trip concludes
INCLUSIONS: MEALS: 6 breakfasts, 3 dinners ACCOMMODATION: 6 nights in 3 star hotels and B&Bs on a twin share basis with ensuite facilities (hotel taxes extra, payable locally ‐ allow €10‐15) BACKUP & SUPPORT: information pack including route notes and maps per room booked & emergency hotline TRANSPORT: transfers from Naples airport or station to Sorrento (day 1), Sorrento to Agerola (day 3) and Agerola to Naples with a 2 hour stop in Vesuvius (day 6) ‐ other transfers by public bus, train and hydrofoil not included, allow €90
NOTES: High season is from 1 Jul to 31 Aug ‐ supplement applies. Entrance fees to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius extra, allow EUR40. We do not recommend this trip for solo travellers. If you decide to book this trip as a single person it is essential that you are a confident, experienced traveller and a strong walker with a keen sense of direction and risk averse nature. Optional transfers on afternoon of days 4 and 5 from Amalfi to Agerola are available instead of taking the public bus. Must be pre booked ‐ supplement applies.
