ITINERARY: DAY 1 | Arrive Chamonix 2 | Ascend cable car and begin your TMB walk from the Col du Brevent (2368m) to Les Houches (5hrs) 3 | A challenging ascent to the Col de Tricot, descend to Les Contamines (4-7hrs) 4 | Ascend through alpine meadows to the Col du Bonhomme (2329m), descend to Les Chapieux (6.5hrs), transfer to Bourg St Maurice 5 | Return to the TMB, cross the Col de la Seigne (2516m) to Italy, bus to Courmayeur (4.5hrs) 6 | On to the Val Ferret, with views of Mont Blanc (5hrs) 7 | Cross the Grand Col Ferret (2490m) into Switzerland, descend to La Fouly (5hrs) 8 | Walk to Champex (4hrs) 9 | Cross the Bovine pastures to Trient (5hrs) 10 | Return to France via the Col de Balme (2191m) and descend to Argentiere (5hrs) 11 | Traverse a balcony trail to Lac Blanc and continue to the start point near the Col du Brevent (5.5hrs), cablecar to Chamonix 12 | Trip concludes
