Bikes
Comfortable and well-maintained bicycles are included in the tour cost on all UTracks cycling trips. Men’s and women’s bikes are commonly available and vary between 7 and 24 speed, with handbrakes. Over 90% of trips offer electric bike hire and many trips have children’s bikes, trail-a-bikes and trailers for smaller children. In general you can expect bikes to include:
> Panniers > A lock > Repair kit > Map holders > Bike computer > Helmets can be supplied

Self Guided trips require that you are comfortable with map reading, referring to route notes and have a good sense of direction. For added safety we also supply you with:
> Maps > Map holder (walking trips only) > Detailed walking or cycling directions (updated regularly)
> Hotel contact information > Guidebook on selected trips >7 day service hotline.
Many of the routes are also clearly way-marked.

Luggage transfers
All tours include luggage transfers*. Even on Self Guided trips, this seamless service will ensure your personal gear is moved to your next hotel each day, even in some of the more remote regions (luggage transfers may be by vehicle or even mule!).
