 We’ve developed
a range of travel styles so that you can explore Europe exactly the way you want.
travel your way
Island life: explore the Dalmatian Islands on our Croatia Bike & Sail
SELF GUIDED
Explore at your own pace with our detailed maps, directions and on-call local support.
We’ll handle all the essential
trip logistics, like booking accommodation and luggage transfers, so you can focus on the journey. Many self guided tours have daily departures
and can be extended upon request. Trips in mountainous terrain require previous outdoor experience, contour map reading and basic orientation skills.
GUIDED GROUP TOURS
Journey with like minded people and enjoy the camaraderie of a small group. Your multi-lingual local guide will enrich your travel experience by bringing to life the nature, history and cultural quirks of their homelands, as well as ensuring the trip runs smoothly. Group sizes generally vary from 6 to 16 people to keep it sociable yet unhampered, and somewhat more on our boat based trips.
CENTRE BASED
Unpack just once when you stay at the same accommodation throughout your trip and really get to know an area. Hotels
are carefully chosen for their character and location to provide you with an authentic experience of the region. Centre based holidays are ideal for families
as well as travellers looking to
try their first cycling holiday in Europe. Our favourites include Loire Valley Castles, Walking in the Ardeche or Lake Como Walk.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Give your family a European experience like no other with our family friendly trips. We have dedicated active family trips, such as the Mont Blanc Family Adventure and the Croatia Family Adventure,
with immersive itineraries specifically geared towards your family. Or look for our family friendly marked trips which cater for a variety of kid’s bike options, accommodations, routes and ages.
choosing the right grade
selecting your active holiday
We want your active holiday to be as pleasurable as possible, so it’s important to choose the right trip to suit your abilities and fitness levels. This is why we have our
honest grading system so you can enjoy a comfortable, safe and rewarding holiday. There are detailed notes available online which outline trip-specific terrain, fitness
preparation suggestions and provide extra information on self guided departures. If you have any questions regarding our trip grading, or your fitness, please contact us.
